PROJECT 2 REVIEW
« on: June 26, 2009, 05:22:24 PM »

Hi this is WCTPro and I’m reviewing the Project 2 which is made by OneDrop Design,
it is  my new favorite yo-yo. I got this yo-yo when I visited their factory in Eugene Oregon. If you’re ever close to Eugene make sure you stop by. It was the highlight of my trip to Oregon.  Shawn and David are the nicest guys. It was really cool to learn how a yo-yo is made. Did you know a yo-yo starts as a solid metal tube?

The first thing that struck me about this yo-yo is how smooth it is. It seems to float through the air, it weaves in between strings with ease. The Project 2 has the perfect weight and perfect size. I really like smaller yo-yo’s so the Project 2 is perfect for me. With a great weight and the Pre-Cleaned 10 Ball bearing this yo-yo will sleep for a very long time which allows you to perform multiple combo’s and string wraps. The Soda Blasting is great for grinds! Since it sleeps for a very long time and it’s soda blasted you can grind for ages with out having to worry about running out of spin. The colors are also very vibrant and look amazing when in the sun. Well that sums up my review. I hope you enjoyed it and make sure that you add one of these amazing yo-yo’s to your collection.
I'll have a video with it as soon as possible.

While it is here I'd like to raise one point:

Has anybody noticed how no P2's have turned up on the B/S/T?

It's because they are that good.

I've seen one orange one - but you're totally right. That's kind of awesome.

Nobody can agree precisely what yoyoing is, yet everybody wants to argue about it and take it way too seriously to the point that people get tired of talking or even thinking about it. Thus, yoyoing is art.

Wait, so they GAVE you a free 90 dollar yoyo, a free t shirt, and a free bundle of strings? That's not fair lol. Did they want you to test it, or were they just being generous? lol

Yeah that's the one I'm selling for my son - if it was mine, I'd keep it - kinda tempted to, but I have a MarkMont that I (barely) prefer the feel of - something about the nickel coating, I dunno.
