Silicone?

So, the peak was my first silicone response and I have a couple questions.
Does the silicone eventually wear down and need replacement? I know it takes a while to break in, but does nicely.
Can it be removed without scratching up the yo?

as far as my experience goes, silicone will break in, but it would take a massive amount of play to wear it out, the nice thing is, if you do wear it out, you should be able to get it out quite nicely, then easily replace it with more silicone  |

well i wore the silicone out on my vadered fhz. but i just filled it agian its the only yoyo i wore out the silicone probably cause i got it used
