hey guys just wondering for those who got one from his site directly how long did it take to get it to ya and anyone leave in east coast usa that received one?

I live in Los Angeles and have not received the ones that I ordered that were shipped on 7-20 and arrived in the USA on 7-22. They have been held in Customs(in Chicago) since 7-22. It is now 7-29 and I am hoping to see them today. So much for 5 business days, today is the 8th business day.

K, here's an FYI for everyone who doesn't know: CANADA POST SUCKS!!!!!!!!! They have to process EVERY piece of mail through one of their TWO sorting facilities (it may only be one facility), no matter where it's going or where it came from. Oh, and they don't actually update their tracking stuff, so be sure to check even if it says it's no there if you think it's been long enough, it may be waiting for you.

I have dealt quite a bit with Canada's postal service and as I will admit it really sucks with all the hoop jumping required with their customs, but you would
think they had the best postal system in the world if you ever had to deal with sending to or from Russia!

The real issue is that there's only one sorting facility in Hamilton, Ontario, and everything has to go through it (I believe they either just made or are in the process of making one out in BC as well). So if I want to send a letter from Vancouver BC to Richmond BC there was a time when it would have to go to Hamilton Ontario, get sorted, and then get shipped back to BC. This is less of an issue now that there's a sort facility out west, but if I want to send a letter within say, Alberta, it's going to leave the Province and then come back. Also, because Canadians are socialists (I'm and American ex-pat here for the cheap, high-quality undergraduate programs) the Postal Workers are government employees, and probably the laziest ones in all of Canada (and there are LOTS of government employees, like I said, they're socialists up here). So if you live say, 40 minutes out of town like my roommate used to, you'll only get your mail once every three weeks or so. Oh, and if you complain it will start showing up in your ditch.

Mine is also stuck in customs!  Shipping things from Canada to the US is usually slow - e.g. when I moved from Toronto to Seattle my stuff got stuck in customs for 2.5 weeks.  Anticipation is buildling...

I ended up getting mine on the 29th so it took 9 days total, 7 of therm were in US Customs.

I ended up getting mine on the 29th so it took 9 days total, 7 of therm were in US Customs.

I'm in the same boat as you and I STILL haven't got mine.  Hopoefully today...

Mail came and still no aurora    Shipping still says origin post is preparing shipment but that's been for 3 days.  Anyway, very much looking forward to this, whenever it comes.

im so scared of not getting mine and it getting lost in the mail even though i got insurance, i would just get my money back and not get an aurora sense there is such a limited run of them 

lol i hate waiting for mail i think of all the bad things that can happen which freaks me out...mine didnt ship until 26th though so i guess im just worrying too much...

I wouldn't worry much, Canada Post is slow, but things tend to get there. I've never had them not put something through, even if it came three weeks late.
