2a strings and loop 720 response

any one has a different response than cotton, and poly strings in their loop 720?
anyone has other suggestions as a response besides fishing line?

does that have used slick 8 and slick 6, does slick 8 strings last longer since its thicker?

Bumpage. I just grabbed some Loop 720s and I've busted cotton strings on both throws every day since I got them. I'm using the stock response and stock strings at first. I found some old cotton strings I had laying around that I think are 8s. I'll be looping for a while then the string will break right around the bearing and my throws will go flying off into my cats.
