Not quite. Try one of the Pioneer test ano Peaks. That particular one looks to be the black/blue acid wash with the proto Slip Matte finish -- a very important piece in Peak history. If you don't mind me asking, Will.... How the hell did you get ahold of that thing?! Got a little excited here guys with a faulty color display on a crappy work computer monitor. Nothing to see here Embarrassed

^ Uh, I'm pretty darn sure that's a royal bison peak.  It's got the flat nub and is purple and blue.  I think that Tommy Moonly was selling a royal bison peak a while ago and wouldn't be surprised if this is that very same peak.

The blue and black pioneer peaks you're talking about have a much thinner blue acid wash effect than this royal bison one.

Oh perhaps you're right. Either way it's still a killer find. I thought the royal bisons were purple Huh

Edit: oooooooohhhhhh my bad. The base color looked black on my other computer's screen! And it made the finish look rougher too. I still stand by saying that it's a great find!

I just wanted to share my experience that I had with Chris. I ordered a Canvas and for some reason it was sent back to him, probably the post offices fault. But things happen. Chris was really cool about it. He sent an email explaining that it was sent back. I emailed him back and asked him if I could add another yoyo to my order and left my phone number. He called me right away. He told me he had some yoyos that he was getting ready to put up on the website and he gave me first crack at them. A few days later I noticed all the new yoyos were up for sale and that he gave me $25 off the price. Really cool. Great customer service. Thanks Chris and CLYW.  Afro. Btw I thought this was pretty cool too, he sent me the same Canvas that he used in the picture for the website.  coolsmiley
