Where would be the best places to check for "public" lathe?

Or just a lathe I could pay someone to make a yoyo for me. Any Ideas?

if ur in high school  tech ed classes have lathes or wait till u get there and u can use them

Thanks, im going to Early College (aka "super high school") next year and its held on a college campus so im sure their bound to have one.  Smiley

well that piece of info is quite important to enable us to give a decent answer...

try tech schools
other that that there's not much to try but metal companies. Just to let u know it would cost around $500 to have a company make a unique piece for you. Could be more, could be less. I'm from europe so i'm not sure prices are comparable.

Park district...in bigger cities they have a lot of arts courses and such.

Trade Schools usually have some sort of manufacturing technology class. There'll be some lathes there.
