I was just wondering if this is a normal thread length? looks longer than mine.

When I try such mount or dismount I don't get same spaces in the video.... What's the length of this thread?

Do you shorten your string? What strings do you use?

How tall are you?

Generally you can slide the string formation around until you get enough space, that's what I like about the wrist mount, you can adjust it easily.

No I don't shorten the string... I'm using the YYN Highlights.

I'm 175cm. I don't think height matters as it's the space you provide for the yoyo between your arms, which is not related to the ground.

But I can understand that it's just a standard string length which is being used, right?

Height matters because it's a matter of string length

With stock YYN highlights you should be fine. It'll just take time to get used to the formation. I had trouble when first learning it as well.
