I actually prefer responsive over unresponsive, but for competing and stuff unresponsive is how I go, because it's more consistent.  I REALLY favor having a responsive setup but having a broken in bearing.  That probably makes no sense though.

For sure, they come lubed to death out the box. If you dont clean the bearing it will rpobably stay responsive for months.

I like playing reponsive. My knuckles dont like it so much. Grin As for which yoyos I play reponsive, pretty uch any one I have. I have a few extra bearings in differetn sizes that a heavily lubed. Once in a whie, I toss in the lubed bearing to play a yoyo reponsive. I find it makes my ten time ssmoother once I go back to the clean bearing.

I only find it more enjoyable if the shape of the yo-yo lends itself a little more to looping...anything in a modified shape or similar to a FH2 is fun.  Currently I have a FH2, Tank, Business, and Bigger Ben set up for responsive 1A play.

Enough response to do binds the "old way" ("wrong way" to those started playing after the original Freehand came out).

Tug response is not what I go for, but I DO want the response to grip the entire way down the string.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen one of these topics here. I think I might be part of the reason...

I play responsive when the fancy strikes me. Which isn't very often, but not never either. I also play 3A responsive-only, as I find it more fun that way. A freshly-siliconed Kickside is heavenly for responsive.
