Help needed for offstring throws and binds

I have just started to offstring again but I am having a few problems.  I am using a Aquarius with the gap fully closed.  After the first manual wind up I get a perfect throw and its great fun until I bind then try to throw again.  I always get a snag so the yoyo does not come off the string.

Any tips for the bind as I think that is where my problems are stemming from

Which bind are you using now?
Try to bind in one of two ways:

1) Just feed the string into the gap and let it catch with as less string as possible (as in feed the tip of the string only till it catches).

2) Land the yoyo on the other side of the string and make it like an OS equivalent of a backspin bind.
