just got mine today, it is one of the smoothest yoyos i own, its as smooth as my 07 888 and smoother then my markmont! its a dream to play, the shape is wonderful.

so it is official, yo-yo with vibration can be smooth?

I think I am witnessing the same word now have a 3rd different meaning.

Just to set the record straight, this is beautiful masterpeice of a yo-yo that will make your friends cry with envy, and plays as well as any out there for a steal at $70, but it is not as smooth as an 888, Markmont, or Radian.  Just like Steve said, it does have a slight vibe.  Should this fact make you pass on it?  No.  you will regret it if you do.

The "slight" vibe is barely noticeable.  Only a biased critic would say the vibe is bad.

o man! i got mine today! AMAZING YO!!! seriously!

and on the whole vibe issue; mine is almost perfect, it has about the same vibe as my 888...its ridiculous!
and also, i am pretty sure they all have a different vibe, so some may get more lucky than others...mine is amazing!

good review!  Afro

Yup...  The amount of vibe varies from yoyo to yoyo.  This is why they're being sold on my website at this ridiculously low price.

I'm happy to hear the positive reviews from everyone.  Thanks for taking the time to write about it  Afro

I went ahead and got this yo-yo even though I'm not a great yo-yoer yet, like I can do kamikaze, spirit bomb, and half of rancid milk.  But I don't even care if I'm not good enough for this yo-yo, cuz it's a beast!  Mine as very little vibe, but you can't feel it at all while it's playing.  I also kind of feel like an idiot cuz I forgot to put my street address when I ordered it. lol  I felt like a retarded idiot2

No worries Smiley  I'm just glad we caught it in time and it arrived safely.  Have fun and keep practicing.

What's the gap width like on this yoyo? It looks hawt but all the SPYY yo's I've tried have had a tiny little gap and it just doesn't work for me.

A one minute search yileded this:

Pistolero:
Weight: 64 grams (without tether)
Dimensions: 52mm (diameter) x 42mm (width)
Gap Width: 3.8mm

Spyder
Weight:  64.20 grams
Width (mm)   41.50
Diameter (mm)   49.53
Gap Width (mm)   3.31

The one Addict I looked up was aroun 3.24 in width.

I have both the Pistolero and a STAR (Spyder) and they are two different beasts.  I enjoy them both quite a bit.

RIDE

this whole push for absurdly large gap sizes is largely a marketing gimmick.  have you guys who complain about small gaps ever really spent time throwing a spyy yo-yo to see if you have a problem?  i mean, when seth & dave did their Save Deth G&E 4 with h-spin they insisted that they make the gap smaller and illustrated the benefit in their video for it.  i've played the new trainwreck and i can tell you that the gap is smaller than my spyder and it still played amazing.  i mentioned the gap size to dave (it was his trainwreck) and the first thing he said was "you throw a lot of yoyofactory, don't you." and left it at that.  then did a bunch of awesome tricks.
