Yea, have you all noticed how the term global warming has disappeared from the news and politics almost entirely... Now we have "climate change". I guess all of those scientists knew what they were talking about after all.  Grin

The term global warming doesn't mean that everything is just going to get warmer.

It means that the polar ice caps are melting, which can result in climate change, be it the average temperature rising or dropping.

I love yoyoing in cold weather. My yoyos feel all nice and smooth, but then again I'm in Los Angeles, it doesn't get that cold here.

There are two main temperature scales:

°F, the Fahrenheit Scale (used in the US), and
°C, the Celsius Scale (part of the Metric System, used in most other countries)

They both measure the same thing (temperature!), just using different numbers.

If you freeze water, it measures 0° in Celsius, but 32° in Fahrenheit
If you boil water, it measures 100° in Celsius, but 212° in Fahrenheit
The difference between freezing and boiling is 100° in Celsius, but 180° in Fahrenheit

[°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9

C= Celsius
F= Farenheit

You missed my point... They have been trying to attribute "global warming" to pollution and a green house effect for decades, but scientists and meteorologists have been screaming that the earth simply goes through a climate change every 500 years or so. It happens with cycles of the sun. Pollution and carbon do leave an effect don't get me wrong. We need to take care of our planet but the whole "inconvenient truth" is that the climate change in general has little to nothing to do with "global warming".

Also a quick fyi. scientists have also recently noticed a large amount of data that they had received over the last couple of years was incorrect or recycled data from the year before or incorrectly measured on a massive scale... #Invalid YouTube Link#

oh and btw the polar ice caps of 2008 are already 30% larger then recorded in 2007
