Wow, I can't believe I missed this when you first posted it, but it is unbelievable. You have such a unique passionate throwing style that I absolutely love. I hope to see you in person at MWR 2009!
I know its simple, but I actually love your vertical undermount bind...they just add so much to the fluency of your tricks.

I enjoyed the yoyoing, but you disgust me. Dude, completely uncalled for! Who the hell do you think you are, judging someone you don't know!? It is people like that, who are so willing to pass judgement on those they don't understand, and don't care to, that cause every atrocity and evil known to mankind. It is people like that, so willing to condemn the unfamiliar that caused the inquisition, the crusades, the American witch trials, the holocaust, and even atrocities as recent as the 9-11 attacks, the London subway bombings and all the rest! The closed minded judgemental xenophobic hysterical belief that unfamiliar, different, or even inferior is bad is the base cause for all suffering we as a species experience. I hope like hell that when you say that he disgusts you, you are referring to how incredible his skills are, in much the semi sarcastic way I stated how digustingly good that video was, for if you are referring to anything else, you are way out on a limb passing judgement that you simply don't know to be accurate. For the record, I noted the subject's overweight physique, as well as his choice of dress and slightly less kept appearance. You know what? It didn't bother me. You know why? I get it. While I may not look it now, I understand weight problems. I have lost 95 pounds in the last three years. I know a good number of people who due to real, honest circumstances over which they have no control whatsoever, will always be way more overweight that this guy. One of my best friends has had three fights with cancer, and is now on anti rejection meds and prednozone to deal with the graft v host after a stem cell transplant. The prednozone has added 30 pounds to her already hefty physique and made it impossible for her to take any of the weight off. Even worse, one of the non anabolic steroids she's on makes her now growing back hair look perpetually greasy and nasty, and her complexion keeps breaking out. This girl showers twice a day, and you wouldn't ever know it by looking at her. To most "normal" folks out there in the world she looks like a fat greasy slob who never showers. However, in reality she is quite clean, healthful and hygenic with her habits (including her eating habits) and is one of the most intelligent people I know (and I know some SHARP freaking people). So unless you know all of the circumstances, I would suggest you keep your unsubstatiated judgemental half formed opinions to yourself and stop trying to insult the intelligence of the rest of us. Am I judgemental, and thus a hypocrite? Damn right I am! I judge the judge. The prejudiced, the bigot, and the hypocrite. Do you know what the difference between me and they is? I am aware of my hypocracy. I try to honestly minimize it. I examine myself through the same lense I examine the world, and when I find myself falling short, I try to correct it. You, my judgemental friend, should take a good hard look in the mirror and spend some time thinking. Do not complain about the snow on your neighbor's roof when your own doorstep is unclean. |
