DoubleYou and I were chatting this morning and he suggested that I make a video for the Yuuki houdini mount combo that he has done in all his freestyles for years. I knew the last part of the trick from a while back but I never knew the first 3 quarters of the trick. I tried to figure it out when I got home from work and put together this video to help DoubleYou or anyone else that is interested. Notes: I am not sure how accurate this is because it looks different in every freestyle. My style and is terrible and I am sloppy with the trick because I only figured it out a couple hours ago. I noticed that I left out on unnecessary rotation that is just added style so this trick is incomplete/simplified.

Just thought i'd point out that Brian Cosky has christened this trick Soiled Panties, as it is simply so awesome it causes any viewer to in fact soil him or herself. Great vid.

i have some work to do hahah Well you already know the end of the trick with the slack. I suggest anyone that wants to learn tricks like this to learn one of Cosky's ladder combos(done clearly in a couple videos). It uses a different mount (ladder) but has similar elements and less string hits.

I'm a total noob, so I'm a ways off from trying that one. However, I've got a question for you.
That looks like it starts with a 2or0, and I notice that you're using your thumb for the first stop. Is this a personal preference thing, or is it advantageous to learn that way for more difficult tricks in the future - like this one?
Thanks, Jason

Good question Jason. A double or nothing with the thumb is called a "Houdini Mount". I assume it is called this because you can drop the string off your thumb and get back to trapeze. The most common trick with the Houdini mount is Kamikaze.

Thanks in advance edit: hmm.. i dont think i'm doing it right, i can't get the second part right. btw i've watched this vid so much i'm really starting to like the song.

You do go through the loop made by your thumb. It happens very fast even in slow motion.
This trick can be pretty difficult so you probably shouldn't spend too much time if you're not ready. I know one other Yuuki freestyle trick that is much easier that you could learn(the one on his second throw of his worlds 05 FS).
If you need any more help IM me. CelticPrideHQD

The easier one sounds cool. I actually think I might be able to complete this one after a lot more tries, lol, i'll take your advice and not try learning it in one day, but casually learn it while I learn others. Thanks again.
