Well I finely killed a Kentero pad. Yep had one of the stock pads in my Lilith fall out,and now I'm playing it with only one pad, and it works pretty well. I am going to try to sillicone the one side but do not feel real confident about it.But hey what do I have to loose. The Project does impress!Now a word about Kenteros, Holy Crap they LAST! Heck even with that trough cut into them from constant binding does not affect there perfomance. Also apparently you only need one of them. Your experience may vary

Mine has been dual kentaro'd for a long time(I got mine when they came with difs).
Basically, one side is completely flat. No grooves, anything. It's that broken in.
Other side is very close to that.
I definately love my project. despite the bad vibe it has because its hit the ground so much(used solely for 5A).

First thanks to Cliff for his fine offer to help me out! I used RTV red sillicone to fill the pad recess, AND IT WORKED! Yep fine tight binds! and the red color looks great! It was SO easy, just gob the stuff in there and use the toothpick to screed it off.  |

O.K. status report, The original sillicone that I put in on the 24th started to get holes in it on saturday night. So on Sunday I took out what was left of the other Kentero pad and put all sillicone on both sides. SO, it does last a little bit and it was easy to redo the sillicone but you have to wait overnight for the stuff to dry, and thats just too long. I think that if I played a little softer or rather smoother(think HAPONIK!) it would last longer. SO you can do it but it just does not last really long, and I belive that is in direct realation to the recess depth. Thank you for your time. |

I have no complaint with the stock pads or any pads for that matter, its just that I had run out of pads and I could not be without my favorite daily thrower. So I tried the sillicone, not because I was trying to push the enevolpe or anything like that, I was just out of pads. Heck if I could have any pad of my choice it would be Bazpads and failing that it would be Ipads. |
