3 Phi?

Hey Tis me again,

I have seen 3 phi 1.168... 1st run and  2nd run. But im not sure whats what. I have seen black ones too so is that the second run? Or part of it.. or what? 1st ones were the ones that "wobbled" and second ones seem to have people saying it has a better finish.

The black ones are the 1st run.
Both have had a history of "vibrating violently", with the latter being less affected as far as I know (only had the 1st one, STILL no new spacers, and I give up.)

1st run is just the "phi". they were black. many if not most of them had significant wobble due to spacer issues. for the most part, the replacement spacers fixed that issue... if you got them.

2nd run is the "phi 1.618", which were silver. it was a little narrower, had reversible spacers for gap adjustment, and featured a special coated "size-c" bearing, which some people love and some people don't. though the name "phi" appears to carry a stigma, i've only actually heard of 3 cases of wobbling with the 1.618, at least 2 of which were the result of major spacer anomolies. i've had one since x-mas, and it plays great.

any yo-yo will wobble if you overtighten it, if you throw it poorly, or if you throw from a loose wind. however, my 1.618 vibrates less on average than my 1st run pyro, which is saying something.

If you want a first run Phi, (the black one) ill let it go... trade or cash. Most likely trade though, cause im jsut gonna spend the cash on more yoyos anyway so a trade would be nice....

to contribute to the topic I personally like the old phis more than the new ones
they rock my world, I have 3 of them and not one has the new spacers, but yea play amazing, but they only play for me.
