So I got my FHZ and the friction stickers wore out in a couple hours, I can bind, but when I do there is a big gap of free string and I'm getting really poor launches! What do I DO TO IMPROVE THIS!!!! There is like 2 inches of free string that the yoyo grabs when I bind and I cant get a strong throw!?!?!?!

Duncan stickers need to be replaced too often to be worth it.
I would invest in a recess job(silicone or pad, whichever you prefer), or a bunch of thin Dif pads.

No need for .555. Just get the normal thin ones.

They should last you at least two weeks.

Gasket maker smells like vinegar.

In the mean time, I heard someone say they had success with melting wax over the worn out Duncan pad. Don't have any info besides that but hopefully it will help some.

I donno about wax, but I have put silicone over a worn sticker with moderate success. I like the feel of fresh Friction Biscuits so much, but it's such a fleeting feel.
Anybody wanna trade a few sheets to me?

Dif pads last a few years... But they would require you to bind once it breaks in...
