Have you heard of the mod squad? Its a groop of yoyo modders that specialize in bearingization of yoyos and dying and painting and other stuff to yoyos.
Anyway they have an online shop themodsquad.org

I gave them a try, i ordered a bearing kit and well that was a month ago and I still havnt seen it or a refund so stay away from them!!
This modder group has about four guys and this Takeshi is listed as a member. i just have one question wtf is their problem
STAY AWAY FROM THEMODSQUAD.ORG they have proven to be rip offs.

Have you contacted them?  I've never used their service, but I'm guessing you should contact them before posting your disappointment.  If you have tried to contact them and they are being difficult about a refund or product, let us know that too.

Hope it all works out.  I checked out the site and I'm not sure if Takeshi is with that crew or not.   Undecided  I do see him listed, but I dunno. *shrugs*

i've dealt with tim redmond (somnus) several times. he's a good guy. sometimes he gets backed up, like everybody. i've had great e-mail contact with him, even when it's taking a while for him to do something for me. if you're having a hard time getting what you paid for, that sucks and you should do what you need to do with regard to that...

just adding that they do wonderful mod-work that i've had positive dealings with them.

good luck getting your stuff, and pm me for tim's email if he's not already your main contact.

here's an example of one of his communications when my LED FHZ was just a couple days late.

I am sooooooo sorry that I didn't mail the FH0 yet! I am a jerk!

The yo-yo is totally finished - But the reason I didn't mail it yet is because I wanted to let you know how it plays and to see if it was OK with you. The wobble is now pretty small - I have discovered that the wobble in light-up mods is caused by the position of the light-up parts so you can always adjust it by popping off the caps and turning them a bit.

I wanted to ask you about the o-ring though... it's funny because the yo-yo has an o-ring on one side but it is smooth on the other so basically if it is tilting one way you need to bind it but if it is tilting the other way you can often get it back to your hand without a bind. Is that OK with you? I feel so bad about taking so long at this point that if you want I will make the yo-yo double o-ring at absolutely no extra charge if you want so that it plays the same way on every throw. It's up to you, but if you want the yo-yo to be more consistent it is the least that I can do. I'll throw in an extra pair of o-rings too.

Ok the Good people at paypal have been able to successfully contact Tim and as it seems the email listed on his paypal for customer support is broken or bad, well customer support email should be well maintianed becuase i knew of no other way to contact them with customer related issues. But the issue hopefully wil be coming to a close. Afro
