Tank trouble.
« on: August 07, 2006, 07:46:05 PM »

Can someone please help me figure out why my tank is locking up kk's like crazy!  I know what I am doing and it was at first the friction stickers rubbing against the bearing but I properly cleaned it in what is my newest descovery, QD contact cleaner-quick drying formula.  It leaves no residue and completely cleans the bearing with no chance of rust due to this cleaner was made for machinery and is perfectly safe.  Now when I put the clean bearing in it as well as a fresh set of thin difs, it locked up so the same as my eetsit  bearing which is oddly enough the bearing the tank came with.  I am out of options and desperate for some advice.

Ive tried mineraly spirits and ive come to know that this QD cleaner works tromandusly better,  It actually desolved the hair around the balls of a bearing in less than 60 seconds!.  Oh and yyj tin lube is in my step list to my cleaning process.  What else you guys got?

If you have a Tank it's new and you shouldn't have to do anything to it.  You might want to let Frank know about your problem.  I imagine he'll do whatever it takes to get it right.

This'll get you there.

frank.difeo@verizon.net

He may be on his way down to Worlds by now and so may not be able to get right back to you.  But he will get back to you.  He has always has been helpful with any questions I've had about my BareBones - a really good guy.

All the best, etc.

I never have any problems with my tank.  That is the only yo I am using now I put my Pyro back in my case and haven't touched it in like a month  Cry  And here I thought the Pyro was the Pimp Shiz...  It is just to wide, but I still like it, just don't use it blah blah blah.  Must be in the writing mood today LOL.
