I would love to learn Rancid Milk!

 But I don't know if you guys can help me, because there has been a a flash editorial here->  http://yoyovids.tripod.com/index2.html  for it.


 and Johnny D. also made an instructional video for it, but I just don't get it?

Any other help would be apreciated though

What part of Rancid Milk specifically do you need help with?

Personally I learned from the flash movie. Both the flash movie and JD's instructional video were not perfect for that trick.

One thing I can suggest right away is to learn Kamikaze.  I think that Spencer was very influenced by Kamikaze when making Rancid Milk

I can make a slow step by step video tomorrow if you guys still want it as Al has been bugging me for it for a while. Like Henry said though, no one's quite sure what the official "Spencer version" is though, as there's a couple roving around.

.............actually Spencer Berry (the guy who invented the trick) once told me it was his version of kamikaze so I guess it starts with a double or nothing, and the the Houdini drop thing, I don't know, I can do kamikaze, but Rancid milk just confuses the snot out of me!


Rancid Milk is like the only trick I have seen videos of and a description, and I still don't get it. I guess I need "Rancid Milk for Dummies" or "the retards guide to Rancid Milk"

A step by step video would be cool  

I have read a few posts on other boards in the past, and I know I am not the only person, who dosn't get this trick (even with the vids and description out there.) so I figured I would bring it up here to see if anyone might be able to help.

I also made a request for Andre to put it in his trick section, when he updates it, but I am not sure if he will (he has not commented on the request yet). I have been able to learn pretty much all the tricks on

.I will check out the links.......If you have any other sugestions or can figure out how to brake it down to make it easier for Dummies like me let me know.

Is there something specific you guys are having trouble with?  It seems to me usually the last portion of the trick (right arm revolution) is the most obscured and improperly done.
I'd be glad to put together a video of the trick from different angles/parts for you guys, just let me know what you want to see.

Hi Spencer! Thanks for stopping by, mad Duncan love back to you!  
When I saw a thread for trick requests Rancid Milk came to mind, because it is so complicated looking. Johnny's video for it is pretty good, but there are a lot of parts that still confuse me. I donno but if there is a way to make a video of it that is broken down into steps, and maybe slowed down a bunch, I would get it. I wish I lived closer to the West coast so I could just  hook up with you and learn it, but I am on the East coast and to poor to get to Cali.

Ok, i was gonna do one, but then i didn't bother when it looked like Spencer would. But i'll do one over the weekend.

Very cool! I am looking forward to the vid! Rancid milk is my favorite trick that I can't do!

 It used to be that way with White Buddha. I finally got it when Andre put it on Mastermagic. It took me over a year to get it down every time, but I finally got it  

I am a slow learner, when it comes to yoyo tricks. I have been working on milk the cow forever, and I am finally starting to be able to do it. It took me over two years to do AA loop the loop, but I did get it! For some reason cows are a lot harder for me the loops.

I don't throw AA as much as I should, but I love the feeling I get when I am doing two handed loops. Looping really gives me a Zen like feeling. It's funny, it is one of those things I put off doing, and then when I finally pick up a pair of raiders, I can't put them down.

They might be a little dark for you, as i shot them at night, and no natural light sucks. But they look good enough to me and my monitor is pretty dark. Worst case scenario, turn your video players brightness up.

Also, i learned Rancid Milk from the Flash site description, so there may be a little discrepancy from the official Spence version.
