Ok ive been doing binds mainly front style and i had a few binds go wrong. I dont know if its the fact im doing bind on a semi responsive yoyo or im doing it wrong. the problem mainly happens on the binds i do when the yoyo is slowed. the problem is that when i throw the next sleeper after the bind the yoyo goes about half way down, gets stuck and pops up and hits me hard.... Is there a way to fix it? or am i jsut catching too much string on the bind? thanks

Binds just take practice! If you have to large of a loop, when you bind, it can wrap around the portion of the string not yet wound. It then will bind but your next throw will snag and come back at you. Try a smaller loop and maintain good string tension. Above all else it's just a lot of practice. Backspin binds work best. Find a tutorial on the Dave bind.
