Sottle's Instructional Vids
« on: June 01, 2006, 10:28:48 AM »

Since i hope to be making a lot of these in the forseeable future. I thought i'd confine them all into one sticky rather than clutter up the boards. From now on, all requests would probably be best in here as well. If Pat/Weber/Henry/W/ or anyone else has a better idea then let me know Cheesy

- And Whut?
- Rancid Milk
- Breath

If anyone wants any extra help with any of my videos to come, feel free to AIM me at 'Sottle' i'm on most of the time.

Once you get a few videos it would be easyer just to have a list of link/names.  But video wise that was ace.  I was doing it right the whole time too.  The quality and frame rate seemed right too, better than the last video.

Yeah dude, i deliberately converted it away from .wmv because it's not compatible for a lot of people, any video player worth it's salt should play that  file.

Get VLC.  It'll play any thing and has slo-mo etc. . .mp4 is an ace format,  I have XP and still love it.

Nice. I like that you not only worked through it slowly, but also ran through it at full speed. With the Mastermagic vids it can be hard to visualize what the 'real' trick looks like, or to see it's visual potential. I'm looking forward to more.  Afro

One more thing, don't be afraid to ask for simple tricks that are troubling you.

It makes my life easier too Tongue

Gonna take a stab at Breath this afternoon.

I have been meaning to learn Time Twister or Time Twister 2.  If you know that I would like to see a slow version step by step.  If you don't know it I'll probably just figure it out myself.

If you could maybe up the lighting a little? That would be great. Cant see the string too clearly sometimes.

Looks great though dude.

Rancid Milk video now up in first post.

I know i said i was going to do Breath, but someone requested this yesterday at the meet and this is a lot easier Smiley

A lot of text in this one, because it's hard to visually explain some things. Consequently it's a bit long. I think it should be useful though.
