I bought a lyn fury awhile back. It was cool at first, but now the string keeps slipping into the side of the yoyo, and gets stuck between the side of the bearing and the yoyo. How can i fix this problem.

Your yoyo isn't screwed together all the way. If it won't screw together more, you may have crossed the threads. If so, unscrew it and try screwing it back together carefully while pulling out on the two halves.

Afaik is that a common LF problem. Some has higher seats since the molding process isnt very acurate. And the gap is very big just wihtout shims. So some has slipping issiues. U might contact the shop or yyj. I bet they will replace it.

i checked, my yoyo is tightened all the way and it keeps doing it
Are you SURE? REALLY, REALLY SURE? Have you tried asking someone with really strong hands to tighten it? Because people have said they were SURE the yoyo was tightened all the way, and it wasn't. If it was fine when you got it, and there isn't something stuck or severely damaged on the bearing seat, it isn't screwed together all the way (sometimes it is really tough to screw together, especially if the axle threads are crossed or crushed.

No. I don't have shims. If I should, which ones should I get? Would that completely fix the problem? ,and yes i tightened the yoyo as hard as a I could, and it still got stuck.

Not great, just adequate.

You might possibly have a tweaked axle. Take apart the yoyo and check the axle. This happened to my speedmaker, it had taken quite a bit of punishment and as a result the axle bent just enough to cause a small gap between the bearing and side wall.
