The Skyline was comissioned exclusively for YoYoNation.
In terms of plane stability I would consider the skyline more stable than an eight8eight but not to the levels of a G5.

We will see how things go  Hay Ben it was all in good fun about the Fedx comment. But seriously..... Why is it with such great yo-yo's that the supplies are so limited? It does seem like most YYF stuff does sell out quickly or eventually . Do you for see customers being able to prepay and then just wait for their order with YYN? (I would be ok with that.) Or possibly letting YYN do consignment? |

Our run sizes are already pretty close to what most 'boutique' manufacturers do in a year For Christmas YoYoNation remained in stock on 888, GM2 and only just ran out of G5 a week before, we were quite proud of being able to achieve this as it took months of work. Right now with domestic production being split between 401sd (new colors coming), GM2 Premium, Skyline, Velocity and more eight8eights means we are again max'ed production wise. For any new product there is a risk, and the yo-yocommunity is, well, honestly, FICKLE when it comes to what it likes. All you need is a few kids who don't know much to post a bad review and a product may tank, despite its qualities. Conversely, a bit of hype and inflated 'values' will suck demand into another product. So, with the Skyline I will admit, the quantity available is decent, but it isnt huge, after all there are plenty of other good yo-yos out there at the momment (eight8eight, Gm2, 401sd   ) |

I got a chance to work in the yoyofactory for a day. I picked up the skyline expecting a parody of of the 888 but was extremely surprised. It has a completely different feel and is my new favorite yoyo.

I'm lovin' the new molded hubstacks! It gives the yo-yo a different sound and it plays a little different for hubstack tricks I think compared to the machined ones.

One thing...
Please bring the serial numbers back! I love having a numbered yoyo, the only one I own currently is a pyro light. I'd be kinda disappointed if the number 9 PRA yoyo wasn't numbered. On the subject of that, it's very outspoken to hold on the release, and commendable - it might change people's views on copied yoyos because there would be a direct effect on companies such as yours, ie, holding on releases.
I currently have limited funds, I would like, but don't need the skyline, so could you say definitely wait for #9 or jump on this?
