Ok I recorded myself performing the tricks and made small clips for each one.

The first one is the Metronome by Jason Lee or Spencer Berry (I think. I said Jason Lee in the vid, please let me now if you know better!!)
<div><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nKsUyAJvb7A&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" width="425px" height="344px" wmode="transparent" quality="high" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="never" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" autoplay="false" autostart="false" /><noembed><a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/nKsUyAJvb7A&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/nKsUyAJvb7A&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0</a>

You might know this one already, but if you dont, LEARN it! its a very nice loop trick to have and use in or as link in other chopstick combos!
DOWNLOAD LINK: http://rapidshare.de/files/38167365/metronome_0001.wmv.html

The second trick is a One hand maneuver I saw Jason do in a Worlds vid I think, pretty awesome! I know I cant do it with the same flavour as he!
but I hope that the vid clarified the trick, if you didnt understand it already!
<div><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GtfblKAVyjc&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" width="425px" height="344px" wmode="transparent" quality="high" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="never" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" autoplay="false" autostart="false" /><noembed><a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/GtfblKAVyjc&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/GtfblKAVyjc&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0</a>

The 'trick' to this trick is to execute the start/firt half smoothly. this is the hardest part. when you got that you just have to go back, wich is easier.
what I think of, is to pull the trapeze so the yoyo runs towards the left hand, then at the right time slightly pinch the string to get the right width. the right hand stays out to the right keeping the string tight.
the key to making the trick look good (same goes for most if not all chopsticks, to keep the 'trick hand' steady with the yoyo swinging around it, NOT the other way around!

Third trick is also a Jason Lee trick ( MAN!! Jason is so awesome  idiot2!) I have for ages wanted to learn this trick. when I first saw it in Fidget it was my main reason for watching the thing over and over again!
At first it may seem hard to grasp this trick, but as with all of chopsticks, just keep at it you will eventually get it!
<div><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HirHH8V0GM8&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" width="425px" height="344px" wmode="transparent" quality="high" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="never" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" autoplay="false" autostart="false" /><noembed><a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/HirHH8V0GM8&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/HirHH8V0GM8&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0</a>

The way Jason started the trick in Fidget is a wacky mount thing that really suited the trick. I didnt include it in my vid, as I only wanted to display the raw tick and the mechanics. this trick is by far harder than the preveous ones.

fourth trick
Yuuki's Slack Chops
the hard part for me at least is the land the damn mount. you have to use the same mount as the preveous trick, but with the added the slack (+including a needed pinch) as you the yoyo comes around the second time!

<div><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wnIY7D94WDg&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" width="425px" height="344px" wmode="transparent" quality="high" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="never" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" autoplay="false" autostart="false" /><noembed><a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/wnIY7D94WDg&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/wnIY7D94WDg&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0</a>
DOWNLOAD LINK: http://rapidshare.de/files/38167297/Yuuki_Slack_Chops001.wmv.html

Fifth trick is a one hand/chop stick version of Willie's trick SupaFlow. its a very pleasent trick to get down and it opens up doors for combos!
I have just started practicing it, so its not mighty smooth, but you get the point!

<div><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/22Uh5eSCOPc&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" width="425px" height="344px" wmode="transparent" quality="high" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="never" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" autoplay="false" autostart="false" /><noembed><a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/22Uh5eSCOPc&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/22Uh5eSCOPc&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18&amp;rel=0</a>

Hello,

for some time ago I promised to make a tutorial on some chop stick stuff

I got 4 tricks, that arent completely basic

Jason Lee one hand maneuver
and his Metronome Trick (seen in Fidget)
and another loop trick that has a nice trick to it (also seen in Fidget)
and a yuuki slack chop trick that uses the same idea as the preveous trick

I can see if I can come up with some more stuff,
but I could put together a tut for what I already can do if you'd like

is threre interest in these tricks?

yes! I feel great succes in archiving better times! Smiley
I am so addicted to it! and I sometimes find it hard to sleep because my mind is too busy thinking about it.
like it used to be with yoyoing, hehe

yesterday I got a time of 16.16 seconds! it was a "lucky" solve tho as I skipped a whole step of my solution.
but I have had several 17.xxs and sub20 is not more rare than it happens on a daily bases now Smiley

enough Cube talk,
"4 Chop Tricks" to come..

Love it that you end each of your videos with "chopsticks are hard". About a year back I got back into yoyoing and immediately Doubleyou here introduced me to chopsticks. Looked pretty easy to me but little did I know that it involves very precise yoyoing. Took me a couple of months to get a chopsticks mount down now chopsticks is one of my favourite styles.

We need download links! Those were really awesome tutorials.
