It looks good, but I'm not really digging the laser engravings, and I like the 401k's fuller shape. I mean I am a hardcore G5 fanboy but I have a 401 and a velocity, and this is like something inbetween and because I've got a few yyfs I'm going to pass on this for an 08 888.

You know you are totally right, the only thing that is going to stop me from buying them is being a university student. I'm going to have to admit I have a pink highwall and xmas gold coming though

I got my 401SD yesterday, and I'm in love with it.

Whoops the original 401, hands down. And I *used to* use those in all my shows.

Better dials, better weight distro, better overall weight, and the shape is still nice and comfy.

I'm so glad I don't have to try and run a yo-yo company against these guys. I would lose.

have you tried removing the caps and siliconing it?

if you do do it then could you post a comparison of both with silicone?

i have got to get one of these ben, PLEASE, PLEASE don't make this a tiny run because if it does release on december 26 then i won't have enough money and then i would be 401sd-less ._.

and i don't liek buying form other people that much.....im not trusting the mail office right now >_> my stuff hasn't arrived D:< and i know it's not the persons fault DX

i preferred my 401k without the dials and siliconed thats all. not a fan of the adjustable system anyway as id only ever use it on one setting.

I must agree, my 401sd plays great aswell. I love how the h-shape doesn't feel so.. h-ey.
