does this have a name?

it's vaguely remniscent of mikhail's "flux capacitor" and that "nuclear sign" picture trick from a few months ago (WAY less complicated than either of those).

it seems vaguely familiar but i can't place it, and i wanted to see if you guys could. is this in some other well-known tricks that i've forgotten or failed to learn?

thanks. i like symmetrical picture tricks that drop to trapeze.

I don't recognize the formation from any tricks that I know, but I'm not really a good reference for this kind of thing..

Another similar one you might want to try:
Start as if you were going to do a houdini drop mount (2 or 0 with first loop around your free hand thumb) but continue it into a triple or nothing and then do the drop. It's a neat looking mount that drops into a trapeze with a mutation, but I guess that should be close enough to your criteria >_>
