Sorry, but that is not yotoy level, its just not. Don't get me wrong, its nice. For such a sleek-looking lighting setup, the string (trick?) is distracting. Looks like the string is just jumbled up and loose in some spots. Not sure if it matters, but it looks unintentional. Also, if the right-side background looked like the left (your black t-shirt?), it would be more effective. Anyway, just a critique; wouldn't have commented if I didn't read Yotoy's name. I do like this pic. I have to say, I'm a huge fan of black and white pics. I just don't think its the best ever. Regardless, good job. |

For the string formation, I do that trick often. It's one of my 5A tanglers. So, yeah, that pic wasn't just an accident.

I like the contrast, I think a slower shutter speed that blurred the yo-yo would make the picture look less static. I have a remote for one of my cameras, I've been meaning to try to take some action yo-yo shots. Here's a picture I took last night of an action-adventure band called Arnocorps. Only the rythm guitarist yo-yos though.  |
