Mastered? You feel you have this trick above the level of all competitors? I don't mean to rag on you, but I think there is a point to be seen here: Why are we in such a rush? Why would it be advantageous to master a trick in a single try? Why can't I take years to master it? For me, it is important to take my time with things. I have felt thousands of times that Breath 3 was moments from completion - but I realize soon that I do not wish it to be over yet, and hold on. I think I am just not ready to end that segment of my life just yet. Zach, I want you to be in the Green Triangle Project, where are you from? Spencer Berry

thats exactly how I feel, I just recently taugh myself brent stole, (idk, there were some good tuts, I could never understand how to do them though). So the past 2 days thats like, all I've been doing, just brent stoles. My arm actually got sore cause of the motion I have to do. I can honestly probably land it around 6 times out of 10. I start missing after I have done like 30 of them though, lol, my arm gets a lil tired. But yeah, I probably haven't "mastered" trapeze, I mean, I garuntee I won't hit it every SINGLE time, most of the time yes, but all the time, no.

triple? Sadly my office computer does not allow me to view anything on youtube.
I have personally landed double green triangles in my vid. Laceration to double gt. I have been trying triple for a long time. Everytime I think I'm going to hit it, it never does.

One thing I always find interesting is even the difference in being able to control the way things look as opposed to just being able to "hit" it. I can do 10-15 versions of a trapeze, each one w/ a different look and style, but I wouldn't say that I have mastered anything in yoyoing really. Just gotten better over the years. I don't think I will ever get close to mastering the tricks I really care about - Breath, Shepherd, or any of my feature length tricks. It just won't happen in a single lifetime. Spencer Berry

I know exactly how you feel. I bust out freestyles at my college all the time (hey, I need change for the bus) and people are always like "omg, that's so amazing." and I kind of just smile and do another trick. secretly I'm thinking stuff like "that's a combo that I made up and I didn't even get that one magic drop right..." And actually the trick I'm thinking of right now, I've only ever nailed that magic drop just the way I wanted it once. even then, I probably wasn't satisfied with some other part of the combo. come to think of it, I threw a trapeze last week and missed. granted, I had a few drinks (okay I had a lot of drinks) but still...I usually yoyo just as well as I do sober. I think it has a lot to do with chaos in the world. no matter how many times you've landed even the simplest trick, you're still gonna blow it once in awhile because there's that tiny shred of probability saying you'll miss it no matter how many times you've made it in the past. haha now that you really have me thinking about the subject, I've been trying to learn ladder escape recently and have been having some problems. I was working on it during school and someone was like "hey, that pattern is really cool." I was about halfway through the trick and I just dropped all the string into a giant clump of knot and said "the only pattern is chaos." then commenced untangling my string.

If I can I'll make a video with a lot of the different Green Triangles I know.

I can't watch YouTube at work either- but I can! Let me explain- I suffer from IT lock down. I don't think it's so much as intentional, as it is due to IT incompetence, but their is hope! Do you have a usb flash drive? If not, get one- 1gb would be plenty to start with and they are dirt cheap these days. then go to www.portableapps.com or some equivalent, and install Firefox Portable on it. Plug it in to almost ANY computer and enjoy restriction free web surfing regardless of network permissions. As fas as the Triple GT is concerned, it was covered some time ago on the tricks help forum. Two ways, normal and crossed arm. Crossed arm is a bit easier, starts out from a wrist mount. I don't goof that one up too often, but when I do- man what a knot. It's not the easy "unscrew the yoyo halves and remove" knot of the normal GT.... BM
