Quote
i apologize if the quality of my play has offended you.

Kinopah, why are apologizing?  Just because you may have offended the all mighty Yuuki?  I think you should be more than satisfied with the quality of your play.

don't confuse honor for cowardice.
i'm quite satisfied, and find it quite fulfilling.

hidden within my apology was the implication that i don't try to yo-yo to fit the standards or demands of yuuki, and that, to quote eleanor roosevelt, "no one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

You are one wise man kinopah one wise man indeed wink

uhhhh, umm,, uhh, mabey bc he is a teacher? haha teachers are always wise.  Grin

from the videos ive seen here i dont expect much as far as trick content on this project.

spencer, why not gather a small group of players that could create a resurgence of green triangles in tricks, bringing back the trend instead of butchering the triangle?

just wondering.

I think you've missed the point of the project. It's not about the best yoyoers with the most tech green triangle moves.

Quote from Spencer's original post:
Over the course of it's running time, we will summarize the evolution of the Green Triangle since it's inception in 2001 and compare it to the evolution of trends in art, culture, and society.  Expect a film about basic human qualities told through the structure of a single yoyo trick.

nah i dont think thats butchered at all:) i think you could smooth out the dismount to ending a lil more though:-p just an idea. Kind of reminds me of this trick in a way
thanks dude.  def reminds me of a bit of that tricks with all the slack. i was gonna try and film it better with more tricks attached to it.  that was only the 2nd attempt at filming the trick (i was way lazy and didn't feel like filming it till i got it perfect) so i just left it as is and didn't bother to chop the end off so you wouldn't see my fumbling haha.

no problem dude, well don tlet that stop you from filming it all man.. just push urself .. sometimes it gets frustrating.. i know trust me.. but once you get it all perfect on film to the best of ur ability you will feel better about the trick. i still regret not doing a couple tricks as good as i could have in  my last vid.. oh well i guess ill do better in my next vid.

just take your time releasing the stuff. i really haven't had much time to even record. college is crazy at the moment so when i'm not at work or in class, i'm working on projects for my portfolio >__< the only yoyoing that goes on is when i'm standing, waiting for the train or when i'm hangin with friends. in 3 week when everthing is said and done, i'll be working on getting something new out.... i really need to start recordin randomly though, i forget alot the stuff i make up Sad but christmas break is gonna be hella yoyoing
