Fanatical American here. But that is the FANTASTIC THING about America everyone is entitled to their own opinion and may voice it at any time.  Is this a great country or what?  Oh and I do but from Cananda since the guy who owns SPYY sent a bunch of YOs to American troops in Iraqi, that was enough to get me to be a customer and I have had the great pleasure to meet Boyd Seth so of course I throw Bear Vrs Man wouldnt you?  Otherwise I spend where I live.  Just my two cents.

I had tried very hard and I can't find any made in America clothes anymore. Unless I want to wear like 5 layers of T-shirts from American Appeal in winter I don't think it's even possible to buy only American... What do you wear?

well my pants are Wrangler which are made in America I also have a Whole bunch of Levis thart were made in SanFrancisco,My shoes are red Wing(guess where they come from???)Etc.....Oh and my Yos they also come from America.  You could do the same, but you do not want to put any effort into it.  At least thats what I get from your post.  If you laughed out loud then maybe you should take a civics class. I ment it this is the GREATEST country on the face of the Earth bar none.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

You need to chill. Insulting me will not get the point across further. Now I thank you first, for the info. Wrangler and Levis don't have much made in USA stuff anymore. I am betting those 150 dollars a pair special made 501 jeans Steve Jobs worn were. And of course I can get tailored clothes but that's out of my reach. My thought was that, it's unrealistic to tell everyone to buy ONLY American, unless you have enough dough. Now reading your post I get that you don't wear tops and under pants. Personally I can't do that in the cold, but if you always go out looking like Technoviking then you will get mad respect from me. I tried to do what I can and I wear new balance 992s, it won't stop there but that's what I've came across so far. Also it's not like the Chinese don't support the troops, look how many magnetic yellow ribbons they've made for us. I got all my civil education there.

I'm originally from Arizona so I only buy yo-yos from companies from Arizona. Sure, it kind of limits my selection but luckily they make really good yo-yos in Arizona. I'm thinking about getting the new Pyro though...

My boots were made in Italy for an American company from New York. Most of the products at my work were made in China and the quality is sub-standard to the products made in Brazil, Italy and Romania. I have nothing against the Chinese people working in the factories making the products, but I don't like that most of them are over-worked and under-paid just so we can sell it here at highly inflated prices or bargain prices at Walmart (were the workers are treated unfairly). Another issue with buying foraign goods is the huge impact that international trading has on the environment. We just had a huge oil spill in San Francisco bay, not to mention all the fuel that is used by shipping tankers on a daily basis.

There is a difference between patriotism and nationalism, and after all... it's just a yo-yo.

I agree with this guy! We are supposed to be discussing the yoyos posted that have pic in this thread. I'm preaty sure nobody but you cares about what clothes you wear or were you buy your yoyos from.

When a guy like Augie(from what I know of him) jumps into an argument to add something humorous and quip-ish, which is contrary to your stance and everyone else is going the same way, it's time to give it up.

 You can hold on to your opinion, but your cries of indignation and childish nationalism are falling on to dead ears(so to speak).

If you really want to change how America imports EVERYTHING, figure out a way to have manufacturers of other countries pay the same as American manufacturers or vice versa, though I doubt the seamstress unions and so forth would be too thrilled about getting paid four cents an hour.

You didn't metion Germany! Germany doesn't suck though. You should go there if you haven't been there, it's great.

Back on topic:
A couple of the yo-yos mentioned look really cool but it's too hard to get them here. I'd love to try them all though, maybe not buy them, but at least throw them. The world needs more yo-yos.

And my comments to bootlegs: I prefere originals, but then again I can afford to buy them.
And my 2 cents to patriotism concerning only buying products from your own country: wake up guys, we have the year 2007! we live in a global world! I am working in automotive industry and I can only tell you if the manufacturers would be honest, the only true label for a car would be: "made on planet earth"!
