um... I know who wrote the sentence for that antiwar khan please don't blame him, right now he is trying really hard to improve his English skill (imaging someone trying to do trapeze. you won't laugh at him, right?) and it was worse before he fixed it, believe me or not! the first guy who designed the sentence also wrote this: I'll say sorry for "the guy who is learning English right now" because he is too shy to say it

I read a bunch of Chinese trade forums lately. Redio and Kingkong are the cheapest among them. Just the yo cost less than 30 USD in China. Many of the others are in the 50-60 USD range.
Personally I will take the Redio with A2 finish LOL. Redio finish looks really cheap, however the shape is the best, and about the most original among them (I also like that metal speeder with hubstack).

The A2 wing and the Earth look like a diablos. The "You Long" looks like someone made a copy of a lyn out of metal.

the funny thing is no one had correct him...
I talked to him and he felt bad because he was just trying to help and now he become the symbol of "Bed Engrish"... who knows when a reporter would track him down and post it on newspaper(yes, it happened all the time...)...
and write done the correct sentence so maybe HICOO can fix it for the second run is there is second run... (Um, I don't want to be the target...)

That anti-war Hicoo is frickin' sweet! It even uses o-rings, so I could put silicone in it. Ugh, so awesome. I like it with the engrish more. I fine engrish too by awesome.
The one with the Kirin on it is pretty cool too; it appeals to the geek in me.
Is "Kylin" a play on someone's name or something? I always thought the horsey-dragon things were called kirin. There is a really good beer that supports that, as well as my asian cultural studies lecture.
Edit: those Khans will probably translate to about 100 USD, even though they probably sell for about 40(or under) in China, correct?
Edit 2: I just finished watching that video...badass. Totally a yoyo ninja.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QilinYes the letter on Kylin is indeed Qilin (Kirin), Kylin is right too.

Cool. That looks pretty bang on, as far as wikipedia pages go. I generally dislike it because it's pretty empirical.
I wish I was kirin with laser eyes...then again, I'd just fly around and kill sloughs of people, so I'd probably make a pretty s****y kirin =/

I'm totally blown away not only by the cool designs, but by the packaging. If you're the collector type, who could refuse the awsome tins and bags those things come with.

The guy who made Reido is insane. Perhaps his yoyo are cheap as the price XD. From what I heard at QQ groups and several chinese yo-yo forums, Redio wobble like a crap that you want to keep it in the fridge.

Most of them are far too wide to even consider playing well. The others do not interest me at all. They feature nothing new, just a handful of fun features thrown together in a package that probably wobbles or vibrates. I doubt that any of these play any better than an American yo-yo.
No offense to the designers, but I'd much rather see innovations than remodeling.

What would you call an innovation, TAB?

Just wondering...

I have seen the You Long and played the Qing Yu.
The You Long proto I seen had red/black ano which was nice. It seemed like a good bearing seat and all, but I didn't actually test it to know for sure.
As for the qing yu the hubstacks are made of cheaper plastic, not delrin and they do not feel as smooth as yyf hubs. and the hubs are large bearing overall, the qingyu is not that stable as well maybe due to hubstacks and all... I would say great effort, but they don't cut it.

No doubt... I'm pretty sure things aren't going to go past stacks and things to snap onto them. Innovations that don't have to do with stacks and dramatically alter actual play are pretty damn unlikely.
