I don't know if it's supposed to be, but that's the way mine is.   I just try and keep it centered when I put the sides back together.  I give it three turns when I put the axel in,  then hold the axel while I put the other side on for three turns,  then roughly turn each side equal amonts.

Thanks!  I still play this the most at home, and my 888 the most away from home.  The time is about equal lately.

In reply to the axle question, it is meant to come out easily. . .if it gets to you then you can always loc tite (I think thats what its called) one side in.

IMO grooves make it better, but it really depends on what your comparing it to. It grinds better than the polished/naked version, but the satined grinds better than the groovy. The grooves are more to give another type of surface/coating choice to people. . .and they look and feel awesome!

It's not better than the satin, but for the look of a polish/raw yo and to still have good grinding abilities its a winner. The grooves aren't sharp as they're rounded.

If you have the money I suggest getting one if you can find one because you'll always be able to resell it if you want to or if you just want to try one then make good friends with someone who has one and they may let you try it.
