My recently purchased used WMM has never actually played up to the hype given by the yoyo community. It was flopping over and dying on the string too much and I decided to change out the repsonse. So, I ordered some One Drop Flow Groove pads and put them in as well as a KonKave bearing. When I tighted the yoyo I guess I gave it too much torque and the two halves just kept on spinning. At first, I thought that I had torn the axle in half. Albiet, I was able to remove the the entire/intact axle. Thank god because One Drop wants $4.00 for the axle and $22.00 for shipping to Canada! When I removed the axle, one end of it had brass fillings on it. Even though I was able to screw it back together and can still play it, my question is what have I do to my WMM and what can I do to correct it?

Why would you be shipping it too Canada ? One Drop is in Eugene Oregon, IIRC. And 22.00 shipping, perhaps that is insured and tracked, when you start insuring and tracking, then the shipping will be that much.

Thanks for the input. The reason I'm shipping to Canada is because that's where I live. When I dropped the new axle into my shopping cart @ the One Drop web site and went to check out, the only shipping options were for either $22 or $31. In retrospect, I think I'll just give them a call. They should be able to just throw it in an envelope and send it bye regular mail. Worst case scenario, I'll just order a Code 2 as well Haha!
