I'll try to help.. Basically you do a 1.5 mount and curl your freehand and throw hand fingers inwards in order to complete a rotation inside your arms. Notice how the string configuration coming from the yoyo stays relatively open throughout the trick because the movement of the yoyo is constant and smooth. I pinch the string a bit with my throwhand thumb as I go into the inner rotation and this helps keep the formation open and the movement smooth. After completing the full inner rotation turn your fingers back outwards as the yoyo does an outer rotation and you will return to exactly where you started, at 1.5 mount.

Repeat until dizzy. Maybe add in Super flow (my preference). Collect your cash.

EDIT: I'm not sure if Jason pinches the string at all, but it helped me. My initial post had the pinch on the wrong hand.

I think that's gonna help.  Thanks.

If anyone else has 2 cents to add don't be shy!

It's really tough to get. But once you get the motion down, you're golden; sort've like Eli Hops.

Can't give much advice, but make sure you keep your hands parallel to each other. That's the number one problem I have: the string falls out of the gap during the 2nd half of the swing.

Oh, and I never pinch the string, but I'll try it tongue

Before you start swinging, do you drop the top string like the way you start branding?

Oh man, I haven't done Branding in a while.

No, though, don't drop any strings. After you finish a Figure 8, you should end up back in a 1.5 mount.

Well, yes, pretty much. When you curl in your throw hand index at the beginning the loop remains but the top string will slide off.

The pinch helped me initially but in the end I find it's totally unnecessary.
