The world's lightest high-end yoyo, at 40g. The Paperweight by Slithering Hippo, made by 3yo3 owner Landon Balk. Details up on http://www.yoyoskills.com front page. I came up with the crazy idea. All credit beyond the concept and specs belongs to Landon and 3yo3. What do you think?

"B-grade Superwide. Has ano flaws which they stupidly circled with sharpie. I got almost all the sharpie off just by rubbing it with my finger. Plays great but I don't like extra wide yoyos". - bulldurham

Landon is such an awesome, passionate guy. He doesn't nearly get as much love as he'd deserve.

He told me he's exported hundreds of his hand-made yoyos to Russia and Japan in the last year or something. I don't know much about the Russian yoyo scene. However, obviously Japan produces a lot of world-class yoyo competitors, so I think they must have good taste as well.

Just threw this for the first time this morning, with cured silicone. Played for a solid 10 minutes (I don't like to play too long since it's not mine haha)
It feels like there's nothing on the end of the string! New string keeps it's new "bounce" longer as this doesn't stretch it out as quick. I really never saw myself EVER making something below 60 grams, but this has changed that. It's almost like a new form of fixed axle handicap. Tricks aren't as hard as on a true fixed, not too much easier.
It's definitely a yoyo that everybody's got to at least try.
