A1 - I am a fan of CLYW, but I certainly will buy from any company that makes a good product that fits what I like.
A2 - Nothing, but I like the Avalanche and the Chief. Peak is nice, too.
A3 - Jensen Kimmitt.
A4 - Yes.

A1 I buy mainly One Drop but I also buy CLYW. I like the homegrown aspect that Chris represents.
A2 I think Chris's designs are fresh and appealing. as well as they play and look great.
A3 I think that the colorways and overall rareness of them make them more collectible to have.
A4 I think Chris does a great job through Facebook to update his company of what is going on and when things will come out.
I would also like to add that after meeting Chirs I can honestly say that he is an awesome and generous guy.

A1 - They're pretty, rare, and play well.
A2 - The team and yoyo's make CLYW better than most other companies IMO.
A3 - Good ideas, like the Chief cross-section, the Canvas engravings, and the anodizations in general.
A4 - Yes, CLYW is great with advertising/brand awareness. They have a bunch of great players representing their products to give the impression of a great product. (Which is great to begin with.)

A1. The organic shapes and intricate colorways ensure that you're not only buying a comfortable and functional yoyo, but a completely individual work of art.
A2. Simply put, the "reputation" built up by the community through the medium of the forums is what makes CLYW "better." The one-man-operation aspect of the company also lends a high appeal to owning one of their products.
A3. There has been a lot of argument about "character" or "soul" in yoyos -- its existence, its contribution to the yoyo as a whole, correlation to vibe, etc. are all heavily debated topics whenever they surface. I honestly felt that all my CLYW yoyos had a very distinct "character" to them when I had them -- a certain intangible "behavior" that somehow conveyed through the string that yourself and the yoyo could play off of each other as opposed to you just playing the yoyo. Playing with a CLYW product is more like playing with a living organism as opposed to just a chunk of cold metal. As abstract and weird as that whole response may be, that's really what I find to make a CLYW yoyo unique over all others. As far as innovation goes, what a lot of people don't seem to acknowledge is that CLYW was a main player in pioneering silicone response, the importance of which cannot even begin to be expressed enough for obvious reasons.
A4. Quite honestly, while the CLYW blog is a great first-line interface for customer advertisement, word of mouth and the community at large are CLYW's best friend when it comes to advertising. They built up a huge following from day 1 (before the Peak was even released!), and that same community hype has carried over almost just as strongly today as it was years ago in the company's infancy. Each subsequent CLYW product seems to top the last one, each becomes more and more desirable. It's pretty incredible.

Q3 What do you think makes CLYW Products unique what innovation has Chris used to make his product desirable?
as far as unique can go, back when i first started yoyoing, the first major CLYW I frequently saw pictures of was the ogopogo edition bvm, didn't even know what the peak was other than some fancy collector's type of yoyo. but whenever I heard of the bvm or saw pictures on yoyoskills, the feeling i always got was that it was a homegrown yoyo that you should take out into the woods in some ritualistic way to play with. if I were a hunter, the feeling of thinking of the peak is that of a log cabin, and the bvm is a shotgun for protection against grizzly bears, i'm sure Chris had some big subliminal message with all that kind of thing.
