i currently use the armor yoyo holster for bringing just one yoyo. if im in the mood for playing 3a i would be bring my crucial holster that can hold 2 yoyos. although, i have been wanting those yoyo cozies really badly recently

Offical Holster Thread rename? XD

I'm just gonna make mine from now on. It's easy enough to come across the materials on old backpacks and some nylon rope works much better than anything elastic in my experience.

Screw holsters for me at least. My bapezilla has a huge ding in it just cause it banged into my wall when dangling on my holster. They are cool just not for me.

If your Bape was inside a leather holster insteed of swinging around on your belt line than that might not have happened,  little swingy things are NOT holsters, NOw that Black Bu$ine$$ on my side in the silverbullet holster is in well a holster, not unlike my 44 which is also stored in a holster made of leather.
Glad to be of assitance. Afro

I actually forgot that I own a yoyo holster, it came with something awhile back but I've never used it. It's like an old-school leather belt holster and everything so I'll have to break it out soon to go with my Winter ensemble.

Tom Kuhn has a black leather holster that fits pretty much everything, its not as cool as the Silver Bullet holster but its wider.
The stock SB holster will fit a Bu$ine$$, Cold Fusion or most modified shapes and a Diffeyo Cross Bones Chip.
I like holsters and use them.

Crucial strap when I'm not wearing a belt, or an Anti-Yo denim pouch when I have one. If lazy, I'll just carry a plastic and let the keys caress the throw...

Can I get a pic of these Crucial straps? They sound sick.

Luckily I have like 5 spare YYF slings left, so I'm in no short supply. I tried attaching those yarn woven yo-cozies to a holster, and it DID prevent dings of any sort while it was on my keys, but it was just way too clunky looking.

Now that the weather is finally getting warm again, I just keep my yoyo in my hand at all times. Tongue

Hoodie, Left Pocket
OR
Pants, Left Pocket

Offstring = strap

I used to have some nice cloth/drawstring bags, but I lost them all.  idiot2

How floaty is the 44?

We measured it on a floaty-o-meter and it scored a 44.

i use to carry my no jive in my jeans pocket, then one time i took it out for this 3 day excursion out into the desert. and i think all the pressure of being in my pocket the whole time bent the axle.  tickedoff

i also used to use the yoyo factory sling, and i slung my 888x on it. went skateboarding. bad idea. came home with a whole bunch of dings and scratches. (i fell alot that day)

now i just put my yoyo into my jacket pocket, but then i've had it fall out and hit the floor for some reason when i take my jacket off when its hot etc...

so far.. that holder that comes with the ywet seems to be the best so far....  buuut... that button the inside of the holder seems to clink against the yoyo quite a bit.

maybe the best combo would be a cozy and sling. idk.

Ok I have found the answer, I bought a fishing vest that has 18 freaking pockets both outside and inside, I now can carry all of my favorites at any time and all my YoYo stuff as well, including tools!  Grin

I spend most of my time in school, and I don't yoyo there, so I don't bring any yoyos to school. At home, I usually have the yoyo I'm currently using, and the rest sitting in my case, opened up on my bed or something. At contests I usually carry my case around with me.

But if I was going somewhere and I wanted to bring one yoyo to mess around with, I'd use my holster/strap thing.

having a yoyo dangle on the side of my pants is a bit silly for me, but I keep my yoyo on the side of my backpack during school (where you put the water bottles etc.) usually when I'm not in school I don't bring a yoyo out.

I always forget my yoyos are in there and find them several days later, hahaha.

How many people make Cozies on this forum? I only remember one from when that idea was first sold on the BST.
