I had a similar situation a while back where I didn't get tracking on an item shipped to Canada and it took about 8 weeks to get there, and I've heard of times where it's taken even longer than that. When I called the post office about it, they said something to the effect that they would not declare it "officially" lost until 6 months have elapsed or something to thag effect.  In the midst of it I ended up having to refund the guy out of pocket and he had bought and received another one while mine was apparently still in transit. Hang in there and hope your buyer/trader is as honest as mine was. Good luck buddy.

Customs can take a pretty long time to clear items.  I've waited six months for a package from Canada before, but it got here.
Heck, I waited four months for a yoyo from about half way across the US once..

I'm actually currently waiting for a package which was supposedly shipped over three weeks ago, But the guy I bought it from hasn't responded to me in the last couple weeks, so that one might just be thrown into the "Abandon all hope" file, haha

In conclusion, as long as you stay in constant contact with the buyer, and have a little faith in the postal system (As difficult as that is), everything will most likely work out for the best.

Six months?  shocked
There was once someone from the USA sent me yoyos only for 6 days (I lived in Indonesia), and the other one took about a month...

I live in the US, but a lot of my family lives in Canada, and it's really a toss up when it comes to how long it takes.  Sadly sometimes it just takes forever, it might sit at customs for a while and once it clears the Canadian postal service isn't exactly known for their speed.

Also, the tracking number usually stops updating once it hits customs anyway, so don't beat yourself up over that one.

I just got a package from Canada on Monday, and it was shipped on Dec. 11. It doesn't look like customs opened it.

So if customs checked your package it will probably take a couple more weeks.

Just an FYI, get a tracking number on anything sold or traded on the BST, especially out of country.
