One drop desicions, help!
« on: January 11, 2012, 09:26:50 AM »

Im debating between a dietz and a dang. they both look nice, and i really like how the dang has the project styling. I prefer undersized a little but have a lot of undersized throws so i was thingking mabey i should pick up a full sized.

Some one mind explaining the deference in play in the two throws to me?

Dietz, I have 2 now and I traded my DANG to get the second one. The DANG is a great throw but I found it to be a little light

I love my Dang except for the weight. It does feel light. I am solving that with some Brass Domes on order to pump it up a little over 67 g. It's my first Premium throw though. Smooth as snot with the 10 ball in it. Seems pretty balanced too.

If you want to add a Full Size to your collection and a One Drop, then you have to choose out of Dang, Code 1 and Burnside. I think thats going to be your deciding factor. Full or Undersized.

The Dietz play light and zippy, where as the DANG plays light and floaty. Sometimes a little too floaty for people. I dig it though. Can't go wrong with either choices to be honest.

I absolutely love my Dietz.  With stock SE's it's fast and zippy.  Throw some CODE1 SE's in, and it'll play as slow or fast as you need.

Dietz is amazing with the brass UL. Also, the dang has a high wall, giving it a tendency to tilt during certain tricks.

I've played both, I prefer the dang. I love light throws, can't go wrong with either.

I just ordered a Dietz,  I'm excited I really like my CODE1 and CafeRacer.
