im gonna have to wait a bit before i can purchase that due to money issues i ran into a few days ago. if its still up on b/s/t in about 2 weeks ill deff purchase it still =] sorry if you took it off your listing or anything, ill deff get back to you though =]
I was just asking and if you could kaybe hold it for until like feb. That wuld be great im not aloud to buy or trade until feb. But i most certanly will buy in feb.
Two problems here: 1. The education system has obviously failed. 2. Don't message people about buying/trading a yoyo if you can't buy/trade for it... |

Man...I feel like an a-hole for that. I have the money in my hand but I'm taking forever to send the guy money via paypal. So I'm guilty about number 2
...but then, it's my first time buying something off the BST but no excuses.

When you have the money in hand but none in paypal. I've been in the situation, but never mid-trade/buy. If you don't have the money ready to go, you should wait to offer until you do. I don't see the problem with asking someone to hold something for a few days, but don't be surprised if they say no or sell it to someone else in the meantime.

No one is forcing you to wait. Be your own boss. I've had to ask others to wait and I've waited for people myself. It's not that big of a deal, really.

It's not that I don't mind waiting, I just find this practice to be extremely annoying and pointless.
I forgot to mention that these are the replies I get.
First, someone messages me asking to buy a yoyo. Then, we agree on a price and I give them my Paypal account address, and ask for their mailing address.
They then reply that they aren't able to buy right now.
It's just rather pointless. And has been happening to me a lot lately.

I agree with the poster. Ive had this happen to me a few times. I dont mind if they come right up front and say "Hey i can make that deal in 2 weeks is that ok?" but when things are negotiated on and a price or trade is set up .... then at the end of the negotiaions he says "oh and by the way ill get that to you next month" that is just poor trading/business...
