Now I have a run of the mill Gray Dv888 I am in love with... its my cheap goto throw Well.. I want to plate it in Brass or Nickel something to give it some character... Is it possible for aluminum to take on another metal after it has already be anoed? and who should i send this to or goto just any old plating shop that do work for motorcycle parts and what not.  Thanks in advance

In order for it to be plated, the anodization would have to be removed. Chemically or the use of sandpaper
