YYF Genesis Bearing troubles!

Just got my stock Genesis yesterday and I have no clue what I did to it but something went wrong..
The bearing won't spin on its own and when I throw it it has a semi responsive feel where I don't need to bind to bring it back to me..
Anyone had this problem or know whats wrong? Thanks!

First thing off, i would call or email whatever company you bought it from. Usually companies are really good about it. I Purchased a genesis not that long ago, It was brand new straight from the store. It played responsive and it had a rediculously tight bearing seat. I removed the bearing which proved very difficult, cleaned it and then i took a piece of old denim and rubbed around the bearing seat until it smoothed up. That caused it to play alot smoother and also loosened up the bearing seat. I dont know what you know about cleaning bearings but that is the first step, If you dont know go to youtube and search "how to clean a yoyo bearing" you will find it. If that doesn't work, try rubbing the bearing seat. If that fails too then call the company or person you got it from. I hope this helps! Nothing is worse then getting a brand new yoyo only to find out there is a problem with it. Good luck!
