Hey Guys, I was gonna try to film a little bit tonight, after being sure we had a black sheet, turns out we dont, we just have a dark brown one.
Before I go to the trouble of pinning the thing up and unfolding it and everything, is it worth it? Or should I just stick with my normal surroundings?

if you have color correction software, try setting the "black" value to the color of the sheet. It might make it look less brown.
that aside, dark brown is miles better than white. it wouldn't bother me

I realize you were intending to receive some advice for the night of Dec. 30th, but for future thought... If "normal surroundings" means indoors with subpar lighting, then I would say definitely go for the brown sheet. However, if "normal surroundings" means outdoors or indoors with good lighting and perhaps a stylish decor, then by all means don't go through the trouble of the brown sheet!
