ok i got my split d for christmas and im loving it but one thing concerns me. Its smooth on the string but if you touch the yoyo itself it vibes. Please tell me this is not a problem, the yoyo has not touched the ground at all its brand new from the store  |

I've never owned a Split D, but I might imagine it could have something to do with the rubber doughnuts. Are they properly put on?
Wish I could help more but thats all I can think of, if it bothers you a ton you should have no problem explaining this to the store and they shouldn't give you any hassle exchanging or returning it.

no they didnt. and i just emailed the store and they said the same thing that a small vibe is common. all in all im in love with this yoyo (figuretivly) |

no they didnt. and i just emailed the store and they said the same thing that a small vibe is common. all in all im in love with this yoyo (figuretivly) Yeah, definitely ranks among my favorites, good to hear you like it. I don't notice anything on grinds... Actually, I'll go check.... I don't notice anything, but that could just be me, lol, I tend to think yoyos are smooth when others think they vibe... |

It happens. My DNA is the smoothest thing (smoother than any VsNYYC) I own yet the hubstacks vibe like crazy. My Split D vibes just a wee bit on grinds. Nothing major. It's a great and fun yoyo, but I don't use it for 4a much at all... just cause I'm afraid of dropping it.  |
