I'm down. I'm working on some string recipes myself, so I may have to do this too at some point in the near future.

The best way I can describe it is a mix between Highlights and yoyoGstring.  (Mainly talking about the white/light blue string)

Pros:
It has a slightly rough texture, that doesn't burn your fingers, but lets you know that it's there.
It starts out with a nice bounce, and maintains it for quite a while.
It DOES last quite a while.  Not as long as Toxic DRAGON string, but around the lifespan of a yoyoGstring, if not a smidge longer.
The white mixed with light blue is VERY visible, and looks classy at the same time.
The thickness of it creates good hooks, and relatively good tension.

Cons:
They're a bit too short for me, but this is easily fixed if the maker just makes it longer.
The suicide ability dwindles a tad too fast for me (that's the "highlightness" in it).
While the tension is good, it's not quite on-par with other boutique strings (Toxic, yoyoGstring).

All in all, I did enjoy it, and would buy some with a longer length if it gets made.

Good job, Scysch!  It sure as hell came out better than my homemade strings!   Afro

I think they are great, I would've liked the length if they were the same size as they were at the beginning after I tied the loop.

After playing mine for a little while, I have a few things to say about these strings.

Great feel - nice and soft on the hands. Major plus.
Great weight - nice and heavy for whips and slack maneuvers.
Nice thickness - pairs well with my kk bearing setups where normal thickness strings would usually slip on a throw and a bind.
I have to agree with everyone who has said that they are very short. A good 3-4 inches longer and they'd be perfect.

Thabk you again for your generosity. Keep at it because you've got yourself some great string here Afro

I finally arrived home from Mexico but all my throws need silicone so I cant test them. They do seem just a little too short but I'll use them for my minis and they should be fine. I love the colors great for a winter feel. They feel really soft too and I look forward to testing them out

The string is incredibly short. When I tied it onto my yoyo, it goes from the ground up to around 2 inches below the waist. It needs to be atleast 6 inches longer. I think highlights are a decent length.

I tried it on my Dingo and it played really nicely. I like how the string feels "tight" but at the same time it has a soft feel. I still havent given the string enough play to do it justice. Thanks for sending me some!

and btw the colors look really nice. Do my eyes deceive me or is there a white and purple twist? I love that colorway

Still haven't gotten mine? I'll hazard a guess that they got lost in the mail or something... Probably a good thing anyways, because I have gigantic hands that take up a TON of string during complex tricks (I can palm a basketball without much difficulty) and short strings are my arch-nemesis!  Grin

Just got them today! Yep, definitely need to be at least six inches longer, if not eight... Aside from that, they're pretty nice. My solution was to just tie a regular slipknot (not the kind that yoyoers use, but a slipped overhand knot) because it takes up less string, and get it as close to the knot on the end of the string as possible. With that, they're at least usable, but they still make my 71-gram Legacy feel like 63 grams of way too fast! Grin

Let me just say that I've been using a crazy-soft-bouncy-awesome string (much like Bungee String) that I rediscovered in my scrap pile about a month ago almost exclusively, so my fingers are extraordinarily spoiled (and yes, I've been using that one piece of string for over a month). That said, this string wasn't as mean to my snobbish fingers as I expected it to be. I liked the feel of the blue-and-white stuff the most, but the black-and-purple was a close second and I suspect I'd like the purple-and-white after it broke in. Nice slacks and whips, smooth enough but obviously would get better with play, nice thickness. I like string that has a bit more substance to it, as opposed to something like Highlights, because I feel like I can control where it's going better during slacks and it's got some mass to throw around. I think it's about ready for production with some added length, personally. Good luck!
