I have a FHZ that's silicone recessed. Well, the silicone wore out and now would be the time to re-silicone it. However, I bought the FHZ already recessed and I've never siliconed a yoyo before. I don't know how good I'd be at siliconing a yoyo and was wondering if there are any response pads that would fit inside a recess while still keeping it unresponsive? If not, I could still re-silicone it but I'm looking for an alternative.

Is the FHZ the new run with the Pulse Technology? If so, buy some Duncan Silicone Stickers. If not and was recessed by a modder, then buy some Permatex Flowable Silicone.

Pads might work, but it depends on the width and depth of the recess. You're probably best off just learning to install silicone - it's a pretty straightforward process.

Yeah, it was recessed by a modder. I have no idea the width or depth of the recess so I'm just going to go ahead and silicone it myself. Thanks!
