If its not expensive I'd like to buy one. They probably would last better than aluminums

When I start to sell these I will probably price them at $ 35. Hopefully that doesnt seem like too much, but between the parts and the hours I put into making them, I dont think I could ask for less Embarrassed

I will buy one. Right now. Seriously.

Someone's finally doing this! Frankly, though, I'd suggest making a stockpile BEFORE you sell them, so you don't get saddled with tons of backlogged orders and wind up unable to fulfill them. Either that or only do one at a time and sell them as you make them.

I'm definitely down, especially for under $40!

Make that 3 orders! And i was thinking to reduce the variability of wood maybe make a bunch of halves and match them by weight. You might already be doing this but I thought I'd throw that out there since its what I do to get my wood arrows grouping good

It's not about the weight (I've heard stories of Peaks and Marmots being smooth yet as much as a gram different between halves), it's about concentricity and how some areas of wood are slightly denser than others and those often don't get centered in the yoyo because they're irregular and not even noticeable. But yes, turning a bunch of halves and matching them up for smoothness, while more labor-intensive, would certainly make for a higher-quality product.

They will be All-Nat-ur-al. I don't want the finish rubbing off on the string Smiley But I do buff them with a high quality wood oil  using a denim rag (very Smooth; definitely no splinters).

$40 Coming Soon  Wink

pm me for website Smiley

Those look great!  How many will be available when they drop, or are they made-to-order?

Will you take requests for special wood (price adder)?
