Discussion(Hope) about future of the Feedback system
« on: November 24, 2011, 02:18:28 AM »

A reflection if we may, not trying to judge anyone... but this was started by the Post 'DaProphet is NOW a scammer' in big letters like a NY times front page...l kid. I dont think 'D' is a scammer, just slower than a mofo, and because of that simple fact he is our example of the day
I checked out the 'DaProphets' feedback. And he has 1 negative(the first post If I am correct??) 139 positive. Impressive in some way ?
I perused his first four-five-six-seven-eight-nine-ten- pages, you know it.... all good, with the odd, shipped late, but ok, or but made up for it this or that....... Oh joy another cheap plastic the guy didnt want.
These trades should be either negatives or at the very least moderates. Perhaps if people, and Ive spoke on this prior, perhaps if people were more honest with the feedback, it would be more helpful.
Leave moderates and negatives, it isn't a personal insult it is a business deal, treat it like that. If he was late paying, say how late in the comments, sending same thing. The moderators are here to help you resolve any bad blood that may arise on the feedback system,  so do not be afraid to use it as it should be used.
Im not saying to be laying it on all thick like mayo all the time, I hate mayo,  but if the trade was a pain in the butt for you, let others know, leaving a positive, and going he shipped a bit slow is lame, your dropping the 'yoyo'  for your fellow throwers who rely on these feedback to conduct trades, they can be sure off.
Keep it clean stik to the FACTS, always know dates try to, date sent , etc...and try to make it business not personal.
If we all took this on as a 'business' responsibility when using the BST the feedback rating should be more of a true reflection of ones character regarding the  'YoYo Buy sell and Trade.'
 Just a thought.
 Peace

Thinking a bit more on it this morning, and I think it really has a lot to do with people feeling anything less than a positive, is an insult to the trader. Its not, it is simply a reflection of the trade.
My hope is that people will be a little more reflective before pressing the 'send' button, the feedback feature is their so people can honestly state how they felt the trade went, if we start using it like that, instead of using it more akin to the 'I Like' button on Facebook, it will start to more honestly reflect all our trade pasts.
That would be my hope at least.

I couldnt agree more with you (on the bolded statement). Even after weeks of waiting Id probably still give a positive feedback like this: "good deal but really slow shipper. you have to deal with that"

But now Im overthinking that attitude.
