Just out of curiosity, is it possible to soak the bearing in the WD-40 for too long? I haven't done it yet, I will probably do it tomorrow.

No. But after a while, WD-40 can evaporate and leave a thicker liquid.

Because I put the whole thing in water, should I put the c-clip in the WD-40 as well?

Just out of curiousity (again) is it harmful if lighter fluid comes in contact with your skin?

best to use a pen cap to get the bearing outa the fluid, but dont worry about it touching your skin. as long as your not bathing in it you should be fine...

Probably to late. Just make sure you get the wd 40 off before putting it back in a plastic yoyo. Plastics don't like chemicals.
