important info the nickel plating that  i do is a micro plate reaction this does not alter any measurment of the yoyo eg the the bearing cup & axle thread also it does not matter what finish your throw has ano , raw ect ect

Hello and welcome, introducing nickel plating service for your throws.  Nickel plated throws as many know are more rare and unique and is now available to you for your throws. I am based in the UK so this service will be more feasible and manageable for me dealing with people in the EU and UK however saying this I’m not ruling out the rest of the fellow throwers of the world you guys make this nation spintastical so please get in touch via the contact section part with any questions and inquiries  

Info here is what I can do for you:
The yoyos will be’ aqua Blasted ’  before the nickel plating is done or this can be done after the throws been nickel plated to leave a more matt smooth finish for the grinders out there (please refer to the sample pics)
 
Little about the blasting  
Aqua Blasting is a non-aggressive technique which ONLY removes the dirt and corrosion and NOT the surface material - this can occur with some ‘blasting’ methods. The benefit of aqua blasting is that all critical surfaces and dimensions of components remain unchanged Aqua Blasting cleans by using a combination of water, a biodegradable detergent (which contains a corrosion inhibitor) and blast media driven by high pressure compressed air which cleans and degreases to leave an attractive matt finish. Water, blast media and detergent are fed via a pump to a high pressure nozzle. At the nozzle compressed air is introduced, and this combination of water, media and detergent / inhibitor strips away the dirt from the surface of the component without stripping away any surface material.

Charge and costs: UK price rate ( subject to change due to the price of Nickel )

£19 for 1 yoyo (multiple discount is available on more than one yoyo please get in touch for quotations) £14 average  additional per yoyo I will give more discount if u want more than 3 throws doing ect... please get in touch for quotes
 
What actions you need to take?  Decide which finish you would like
 
Matt nickel ( blasted after the nickel plating ,,, smoother surface for grinds ) info this finish leaves figure prints in first contact and first time used then it balance out )

Shiny nickel finish (aqua  blasted then nickel plated:  leaves a supper nickel finish that will glorify your throw)
 
Attention: prior in sending the yoyos the response should be removed and cleaned. You can leave the response in if its (silicone) however the silicone area will not be nickel plated if not removed)

All I need is the yoyo half’s I do not need the axle or the bearing but u may send them with the yoyos if you wish however I prefer not as I would not like to misplace any parts if I have many orders.

There is a matter important enough to be addressed in the thread, itself. 

Do you plate the bearing seat?  My raw Gen Yo Essence could use some kind of coating for longer durability than the soft raw aluminum.  But if the nickel will prevent a proper fit of the bearing within the bearing seat, is anno probably a better choice for my Essence? 

What has been your experience, respecting this issue?  Those of us with raw aluminum, fine yo yos would appreciate the information.

Hello, when I first looked at this I thought this may be an issue it's a common thought as this would be a problem if it altered the measurement I was also concerned about the threads for the axle . However !!! The specific blasting that I use on yoyos does not effect any measurements at all ! And for the Nickel plating it's a micro plate reaction and again it does not effect any measurements what's so ever ! The 2 throws I have sampled have been perefect working order after the nickel.
